I was asked me to create one of my dragons as a shoulder tattoo. I thought of Picasso when first designing this, aiming for something even more surreal, but scaled back its exaggerations a little for the final product. The tail that leaves the upper right side of the page wraps under the arm (as a tattoo), and then is meant to come back out the bottom left side of the arm. Done first in pencil and paper and then sketched out on a Wacom tablet.
