| Just a collection of sketches that I built my comic up from - none of these were created before I started writing, in that sense the artwork directed the evolution of the story. Concepts for the plot and script evolved from wanting to incorporate the pieces below. Emile Zola proposed the idea of the experimental novel - that once the characters are created, the author no longer has free will over what their work. If they understand the characters they've created, then there is only possible direction in which the plot can unfold in that novel. |
